Second Year Chapter- 2.6

This week I have been drawing up posters for Dereks class. I first started creating ones that are not very nice as they are to represent hate crime. So I felt a little sad when I was creating those. But while I was doing them I had to keep in mind that they couldn’t be too dark as it didn’t suit the animation style and as the animation would most likely be shown to kids, I couldn’t make it too dark. When I was creating posters for the Hate crime posters that are meant to encourage people to report hate crime  I had to research information to put on the posters and think of how I could make them stand out and look trust worthy.
After finishing them off I sent them off to Lara that art director to choose the best.
I also did a parallax to see how it looked.  It was harder then I thought it would be as I had to re-arrange the image file layers to make it fit into the parallax.
As we didn’t plan to make it into a parallax until one of my teammates said to turn it into one. So eventually I was able to turn it into one but the end result of the background was slightly different but Laura was fine with it.

For pre-production is been a little all over the place as me and Rebecca as still unsure of the story line and how the middle should come together. So we are still a little shacky about that so we each have been trying to write up a script. That way we can then compare them and see which world better and what parts would complement the story.

Theses are the good posters that I have created. Though please excuse the spelling, at the time of making them I wasn't to fussed on spelling. I was going to look over the spelling once the art director of the group had chosen the one she liked most and wanted to use.

The are the horrible posters that I created and as you can see I tried to range them from really bad to mild as I wanted to see the ranges of how bad they can look.
Anyone who is looking at this please do not take these posters to heart, they are for a project to promote reporting hate crime.
