Second Year Chapter- 2.9
With Laura's actions of refusing to learn after effects and then dumping them on Amy and Mads it had some effects.
Mads way lucky fine with more work but Amy had a few worries as she like me had not much experience with after effects, especially when it came to using the puppet tall in after effects.
Looking over her work I knew with the amount of work she now had to do and the pase she was doing it in she would not have enough time to finish it and she knew that. So I took the small shot off of her hands and did it myself. It was a lot easier to do this one as I was much more comfortable when using Photoshop. Which was great help when it came to helping out Amy with her shots as it allowed me to understand what she needed to do and how I could explain it to her in simple steps.
Mads was fastest when it came to animating and it wasn't long before all his shots were finished and done to a high standard which was perfect. Were as Alex on the other hand was silent, sure after the holidays he had said that he had finally finished the animatic scene. But after it took so long just to do one animatic scene I got worried and started to text him on his progress(I the group chat and his personal one) . He didn't reply. A few days past and deadlines were getting closer and after looking in the studios for him and no reply's from texts and with the rest of my team starting to wonder about his progress I started to text him more. I even rang him up a few times and created a separate group just encase he muted our project one. People who had worked with him before came up to me and shared the same problems that I was having with him and had offered if I wanted to be shown where he lived so I could corner him but I went for there other suggestion as I didn't want to walk into his private life. Instead I asked his house mate if she could ask him to contact me.
He still did not so I put one more thing on the chat and of course that got his attention and he finally replied saying that he would have finished his shot by six tomorrow but of course she was.
Oh and if your wondering what I sent him it was noting bad. I just warned him that his lack of cooperation and communication is affecting everyone in the group(which it was) and that if it continued I would report him to the module leader, Derek.
Of course he didn't finish off his work and said he would get it done a the following day at 6 (can u see a pattern forming). He didn't.
For pre-production things were going smoothly, I had done lots of work for it and even thought I did get a few wow images dumpt on me I felt I could handle and I think I did. Not to the highest standards I wanted to but to agree that I was content with. Luckily I was able to mange all of them but two that resulted in that state.
The top one is one of the best images that I did were as the bottom one is all coloured in but I was not able to fully complete is as I had other pressing work I had to do in time for the deadline.
