Jumping Tail's

Adorable isn't he,this is my little fox which I'm sad to say was much harder then I thought it would be. Moving the body around was easy but when it came to animating his tail it came not so easy fast. When manipulating it I continued to get muddled up in what the tail should do next after following the reaction of his body. Thats why in some parts of the video the tail is reacting correctly and in cowardiation with the body but at other time it looks like the tail has been put in slowmotion or its having a fit.
I need to study secondary action and videos of tails to get a better feel of there reaction of follow through before I attempt to replicate this exercise.
The only thing that did go well was his jumping and the force of the jump being shown.
