Bouncing A Ball Round The Room


The first video is of my first bouncing ball and my first try in the program TVpaint where I created it in. As a first ever try I thought it was alright but after doing more pieces I began to realize how bad it was,the ball was all jumpy and didn't have a very smooth bounce. It also didn't last very long and if you blinked you would miss it and I didn't like that so I created another one. As the only good thing about this one was the round shape of the ball and the shading of the shadow that made the ball look more 3D and not a ball dotting around a room.

The next video is one I did much later on because I didn't want to live that fist try as my only ball bounce. This time I made a longer rout for the ball to follow so its much longer and more interesting to watch compared to the last one I did. I also finished off the room more,giving it a bin so the ball has a place to end up,giving it a nice finish instead of it disappearing off the screen. The ball in this one is much more fluent and has much nicer curves in the bounce. I also had much more experience with the timing off the ball so I was able to give it a better simulation of a ball compared to the one I had done before.
Even with that said I think there is still need for improvements,such as when distance and the size of the ball when it gets closer or further away from the viewer.
