Jumping Box

This is a video of a little box doing a little jump and as you can tell it slightly resembles a human the way it looks around first to see if anyone watching it. That is something that I intended to put in to the character. This was the second creation I did in TVpaint and I had a fun time creating this little guy as I was able to give him character that resembles a human.
I was able to make him look behind his shoulders at the being quite well to my surprise and I found that with adding the colour it helped to exaggerate that bend of the character nicely. It took me a few attemps to make a nice way to look like it was about to jump but eventually I did allowing me to create a nice jump.
If I where to improve it further I would add a little more swaying of his body at the end of the jump to make it look like it had more force in his jump and to help show it's body weight more. I would also take more time to create a better shadow that would give the character a better standing.
