Second Year Chapter-1.4
Not even the bad feeling that I had in my gut managed to fully show the pain and effort this week forces me to do.
The week began with the making a poster that relates to our project which is something that I did enjoy doing but when you already have to do an animatic all by by yourself for the following week, extra work is never good news.
Then the following day I had to do a rush of work with the group I was working with for a project called Shelter Box. Starting early in the morning we started on our story board for a lesson later on that day. And we where able to create a very satisfying story board together, working well as a team with no major problems arising. We where just able to finish the story board in time for our presentation just by the skin of our teeth.
The presentation went smoothly and we got some good feedback back from the audience that we imputed into or ideas.
For example there was two sections where there was an explanation of what goes into the shelter box. One of those sections is not needed and is a wast of time.
It was at the end of this lesson it was clear that we had to do an animatic for next lesson.
The following day I was free of lessons ....but not work. I instantly started on my animatic that I had to do myself using my storyboard that I created the previous week as a guide. It wasn't fun creating a animatic but it wasn't boring either it was an interesting experience and this time I was on better terms with knowing what an animatic is and how to create one. So I didn't get as stressed as I previously have when creating an animatic .
Near the end of the day a little over half of my animatic was finished.
For the rest of the week I continued to do my animatic. Finding sound for it,making sure the sound worked with the video and then making sure the audio and video went together at the correct times.
I was doing this until the following week till 1 o'clock Wednesday morning.
Over the weekend I went to the Shelter Box base where we took many photos of the tents and equipment that they supply to people in need. Asking questions and finding out facts that aid in the making of our project.
It was a lovely place but I thought that the place was very small. Yes they showed the tents and what they've put in the boxes along with a few facts but it still felt a bit bare if you ask me . Though hopefully with the new advert where creating for them they'll have a new interesting attraction.
