Second Year Chapter-1.7

This week I've been mainly doing work.
For Shelter box we've been doing assets that will help us move along to the actual animating of the final pitch. I personally have been doing the backgrounds,re-doing the cliff parallax, doing a parallax of shelter box HQ along with an image of the ground for a scene. I've also been putting them into after effects and laying them out so me and my team don't have to worry about setting up the parallax.
For pre-production I've done some research on our artist and his style of drawing, along with doing a picture in the artists style in the destination of where the story will be based .Thought I found out later this week this may change depending on time and the story line.(inking)
I've also joined another pre-production group and I have been practicing on that artists style by doing a background for her.Which I think was quiet successful thought I understood the differences in how my piece of art was different to the artists. My work was slightly darker as I was asked to make it look more dark and scary making it different from the light work he produces. I also need more practice as I may have used a little too much shading and made it a little more 3d then its ment to look but I found it a little hard to make it look 2d because of the angle at which I was drawing the artwork.
This week I have also created one of the characters from my inkling project in 3D using little wooden sticks as support which was then covered by pink clay before finally being covered in normal clay. Annoyingly the lesson was not long enough to create a perfectly sculptured creature but I was able to create the basic shape of it.
